Since establishing in 2007 as Oman’s first luxury charter business, the fleet has grown to seven unique vessels and a top end catering division with onshore and offshore creative catering offerings.
The company was also the first to offer sailing charters and luxury fishing charters in Oman as well being the pioneers of overnight camping luxury in the Dimanyat Islands.
In 2010, it established Bait al Bilad‘s Courtyard Café – a Village House experience bringing the traditional flavors and tastes of Oman to tourists from all over the world and due to popular demand in 2013, produced an award-winning cookbook.
The pride of the Ocean Blue fleet is the 75-foot sailing yacht SY Azzura. Custom built for Oman in 2007, Azurra offers a sailing experience of unsurpassed luxury and has hosted members of royal families of all Gulf states and European countries.
Other vessels include the newly rebuilt 85-foot Arabian dhow, MY Ibra and a 36-foot motor yacht, MY Teer, for overnight charters, two 31-foot power fishing boats, a superfast 31-foot RIB, Diva and a specially designed beach pick up vessel, Dory.

Since 2010, Ocean Blue has carried the 5thgrade class at The American International school as part of their annual Discover Oman week studies.
The company won the Travelex Award for Corporate Sustainability in 2012, has participated in Environment Clean Ups of Dimanyat Islands annually since 2008 and has participated in and supported the Environment Society of Oman Whale & Dolphin Education & Monitoring program since 2012.

Clara Zawawi – Chairperson – Ocean Blue
Ocean Blue’s chairperson Clara Zawawi is a pioneering leader in Omani tourism. She is the first female to establish a tourism business in Oman and was the first to open the Oman Gulf to sea tourism. That was seven years ago. Her vision saw her develop the concept of luxury sea tourism and introduce this high-end industry to Oman allowing Ocean Blue to develop its product offering to include a variety of luxury on-water experiences and some innovative onshore dining initiatives. Her personal love of cooking and cuisine, has driven the catering arm of the business to great heights and international recognition through the award winning cookbook featuring favorites from the Bait al Bilad Village House experience.
