Dimanyat Island Days
Escape to the pristine world of protected coral reefs and sea life …
The Dimanyat Islands are an archipelago of 6 atolls that stand a mere 10 miles off the coast of Muscat but a million miles from the daily grind!
A protected environmental reserve and extremely important migratory bird breeding grounds, the islands are closed to visitors between May and September each year and accessible only with permits in the other months.
Their extensive coral reefs withstand extremely high sea temperatures and are therefore scientifically important as global warming leads to corals bleaching in more high profile areas such as the Great Barrier Reef ..
And did we mention that the fishing and diving are amazing too?
Just two hours sail from The Chedi Beach or an hour from The Wave Marina, this is literally the jewel in the crown of Muscat sea getaways.
